What coverages are included in this group insurance plan?
Our group insurance plan offers extensive coverage, including healthcare, medications, dental care, vision, critical illness, and much more.

Healthcare: $50 annual deductible for individuals and $100 for families, with an 80% reimbursement. Coverage for paramedical care up to $300 per specialist and up to $1,000 per calendar year.

Medications: No coverage limit, with an 80% reimbursement.

Dental Care: $50 annual deductible for individuals and $100 for families, with an 80% reimbursement. Coverage limit of $1,000 per person per calendar year.

Vision: One eye exam every 24 months, with a $150 allowance for glasses.

Life Insurance: Coverage of $25,000 for members, $10,000 for spouses, and $5,000 per child.

Critical Illness: Benefit of $25,000 in case of a critical illness diagnosis, $5,000 for spouses, and $2,500 per child.

Travel Insurance: Coverage up to $2,000,000 per insured event, for trips up to a maximum of 180 days.

Here's how a $60 prescription payment is distributed at the pharmacy during the first purchase of the month:
- RAMQ - $22.25 Monthly Deductible - 65% Refund
On a $60 invoice, you first pay the deductible of $22.25. Then, on the remaining amount of $37.75, you pay your co-insurance portion, which is $13.21.
In total, you pay $35.46 ($22.25 + $13.21) on the $60 invoice.
- Group Insurance - No Deductible - 80% Refund
On a $60 invoice, you pay 20% of the cost ($60 * 20%), which amounts to $12.00.
What are the conditions to benefit from this insurance plan?
You must be an individual member of RQD, including professionals, apprentices, associates or a corporate member delegate and submit your application before the deadline of September 30, 2023. The group insurance program will start in October 2023.
To maintain this program, a minimum of 100 subscription requests must be received before September 30, 2023. In case the minimum number of requests is not reached, this program may be postponed to a later date or canceled.
