Choreographers
Recognized by peers, creation of at least two paid works that have been presented and performed by paid performers, totaling at least 50 minutes.
Teachers
Accumulation of at least 180 hours of paid teaching.
Rehearsal Directors
Recognized by peers, collaboration on at least two paid works that have been presented and performed by paid performers.
Designers
Recognized by peers, collaboration on at least two paid works that have been presented and performed by paid performers.
Researchers, dramaturgs, cultural workers, accompanying musicians, and other professions related to dance
Recognized by peers, accumulation of at least 180 paid hours in the field.
Any individual engaged in a professional dance endeavor, but who does not meet the eligibility requirements of a professional individual member.

Associate individual members of the RQD include students in professional training and former members who have retired from dance.
Student: a person enrolled in professional dance training.
Heart Member: a former member of RQD who has ceased their dance activities or has professionally redirected themselves.
